Never have I ever had a disappointing meal. Best Chinese in Slidell!

Food was good, but the end of meal was where I got very upset. Meal was 41.58. Gave waitress a 50.58, she returned abd handed my son the money tray with the 58 cents still on it and nothing else. I told my son I gave a 50 and there needed to be more money. Really don't know who this waitress was fooling but it wasn't me. She went to register and said no 50 was given, another lady looked said no 50 in drawer. I told her she better find it because I know what I gave. Our waitress then looked in her pockets and guess what there was a 50 in her pocket. Now this part only confirms my thoughts:she claimed she was being sent home so she took off her apron. Then why did she come and take our money? To steal from the customer and her employer. I understand its close to Christmas but don't steal and money is tight but come on don't steal. I work 2 jobs to treat my family to a night out.

I love the food here!! Service is always pertinent and they always seem exited to see us. It's always great to see a place supporting local artist. Yee has it down when the hunger comes around. Try out the fantastic combo fried rice, made the night.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to in my three years in the south. The sweet and sour sauce had a perfect balance between a fruity sweet with a well rounded pepper-sour flavor. It was a large plate and I was overly stuffed but still wanted to go back the same day.

The food was ok, not great. The service was very slow considering they only had four tables with guest and two of them were there before us. My food and two of the tables was brought out before my husbands. So, mine was cold by the time his food came since I didn't want to eat without him. When we asked if his was almost done, the waitress said she hope so. The last couple times we have chosen Yee's we have been disappointed. Something has definitely changed within the last few months. I use to come regularly and have given it a good review. Unfortunately, not this time.

You'd never know from the outside. Yee's is my go-to Chinese. Both lunch and dinner prices are in a really great range. Also, portion size is huge. It does however run true about the old New Orleans saying. The best places to eat are the mom-and-pop / not the fanciest spots.

This place has been there since the 1980s for a reason because it's the best Chinese ever I say this you can go to 50 different Chinese restaurants with 50 different names but they all have the same menu most even have the same pictures on the wall except for Yee Chinese the food is fresh and delicious with ultra fresh vegetables. Like pulling the stems off of the snow peas fresh not frozen
